It really varies from person to person! ;D

The ‘core group’ though are the ones you listed— Gravity Falls, Psychonauts, Coraline, and Paranorman, possibly because they’re the closest to one another in spirit.

However, at its most basic Mystery Kids is just cartoon kids battling the supernatural, so this can conceivably extend to any series that fits the bill, hence why other series are sometimes included.

Personally I like including Invader Zim when I can, as it gives Dib people to bounce off of and has a lot of things— stylistic direction and humor mainly— in common with Psychonauts that allow them to blend really easily. But others might not feel the same, so they choose not to and that’s perfectly okay! Basically you just include whoever you think would be the most fun to see interact, and that’s all there is to it! ^^

Okay, guys, let’s take a few things into consideration.

1) Frank Welker has been the voice of Freddy Jones from Scooby-Doo since 1969. That’s right, he’s been playing the SAME CHARACTER for almost 45 years.

2) When being interviewed by “Manny the Uncanny” (played by Paul Rugg, best known as Mr. Director from Animaniacs and Freakazoid in Freakazoid!), he started doing the distress call for a Capuchin monkey in front of the Capuchin monkey enclosure at a zoo. The Capuchins started freaking out, thinking one of their own was in trouble.

3) This man has 682 credits to his name, and he’s still working.

4) If you’re hearing animal noises in a cartoon, chances are you’re hearing him. (Or Dee Bradley Baker. But usually Frank.) He did Abu AND Rajah in Aladdin (and the Cave of Wonders, but I think that’s irrelevant), and has since gone on to Flit in Pocahontas, Pegasus in Hercules, and pretty much every other animal sound effect for Disney. If there’s an non-speaking animal in a Disney production, chances are you’re hearing Frank Welker.

5) Chances are, this man is the voice of your childhood. Between incidental background animals and characters, to primary characters (Freddy Jones, Dr. Claw, Megatron, to name a few), people like Tom Kenny and Billy West have NOTHING on this man.

Am I surprised that a real lion is not as impressive as some guy named Frank with a trashcan? No. No I am not. Because Frank Welker is a BOSS when it comes to voice acting.

Show the man some respect.

where > means more powerful obviously.

cause scooby doo could definitely beat megatron in a fight, using his wacky shenanigans and maybe some weed
